Hi everyone!!! Atlast cauliflower season has started. I am a big fan of cauliflower and go on making many dishes with it. This is one such simple dish and tastes heavenly. This is my moms recipe and it is a big hit in my family. Thank you mom :)
Ingredients:
Gobi - 1 cup(cut into florets)
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Curry leaves - few for coating
Corn flour - 2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/8 tsp
Procedure:
Boil water in a pan. Add turmeric and salt to it.
Add the florets into the water. After 3 - 4 minutes, switch it off
Strain it in the strainer.
Let the water drain completely ( say 10-12 minutes)
Now take corn flour, chilli, coriander, ginger garlic paste and little salt(we needed for the coating)and mix well.(don't add water).
Now add florets to it and toss well ( the moistness in the cauliflower florets is enough to coat them )
Heat oil in a Kadai and fry these florets.
Decorate with fried curry leaves.
Crispy Gobi 65 is ready to enjoy!!
Notes:
You can add food colour to the coating if you want a deep red colour.
Make sure you don't add water while coating to get crispy Gobi 65.
Cheers
